The Crescent Bar Owners Association (GCBA) has heard from our community, who has been asking for a Crescent Bar Pickelball Tournament. We proudly announce that the first-ever Crescent Bar Pickleball Tournament is here, and it's time to show off your pickleball skills! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just picking up the paddle, we want YOU to be part of the action!
Date: Saturday, June 21st
Location: Multiple venues to accommodate multiple players and brackets.

Enter as a single if you cannot find a co-ed partner, and we will put the singles together so everyone can play in this tournament
Spots are limited—register now to secure your place! Between the two divisions, we have spots for 64 teams. If we are sold out, put your name on our waiting list, and we will work to get you into the tournament.
The TOP TWO winners in each bracket will get their name engraved on our MASSIVE CB Pickelball trophy, which will be displayed in Crescent Bar for years!
If you are interested, please enter by 4/30/25. Our volunteers need to make brackets; early entries make this process easier.
The Crescent Bar Pickelball Tournament is pretty simple:
All items are non-refundable. All sales are final. READ THE WAIVER SHOWN IN THE MISCELLANEOUS POLICIES BELOW.
You must be 16 or older to enter the tournament and sign a waiver form.
Both members of your team are required to sign an event waiver before being placed in a bracket. The waiver is shown below and will be emailed to you and your teammate using the email addresses provided.
CRESCENT BAR PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
The undersigned individuals wish to participate as a team in the 2025 Crescent Bar Pickleball Tournament (the “Tournament”), hosted by the Crescent Bar Owners Association (“GCBA”) and held on June 21, 2025, at the pickleball courts located within the Sunserra, Crescent Bay and Vineyard neighborhoods (collectively, the “Courts”). As a condition to our entry in the Tournament, and in consideration of being granted access to and use of the Courts during the Tournament, we voluntarily and individually acknowledge, agree and warrant as follows:
1. I understand that there exists a risk of accident, personal injury, damage to property or even death from my participation in the Tournament and use of the Courts.
2. Without reservation of any defense or claim, I agree to assume, to the greatest extent allowed by Washington law, all risk of accidents, personal injury, death and property loss or damage sustained by me, or which are caused by me, and that result from or relate in any way to my participation in the Tournament or my use of the Courts.
3. I acknowledge that neither the GCBA nor Sunserra, Crescent Bay and/or Vineyard Homeowners Associations (collectively, the “Associations”) have made any representations or warranties to me regarding the condition of the Courts, and that I have satisfied myself as to the acceptable condition of the Courts prior to my participation in the Tournament and presence upon the Courts.
4. I acknowledge that it is my sole responsibility to carefully evaluate the risks inherent in entering and/or using the Courts, and that I have fully considered those risks, including, without limitation, dangers posed by willful or negligent conduct of myself and/or by other entrants in the Tournament or users of the Courts.
5. I agree to release, discharge, waive and hold harmless GCBA and the Associations., and each and every of their members, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives and volunteers (the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liabilities, actions, causes of actions, suits, damages, losses, judgments, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, including legal fees and disbursements, which I, any company or business entity that I represent, or my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors, or assigns may now or hereafter have against any of the Released Parties, for any personal injury, death or property/economic damage that I may sustain as a result of my participation in the Tournament and/or use of the Courts.
6. If any claim is brought against any of the Released Parties arising from or relating to allegations of damage for which I am asserted to be responsible, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties, using counsel of the Released Parties’ choice, at my sole expense.
7. I agree that if any portion of this document is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall be binding and continue in full force and effect.
8. I agree to strictly abide by any safety instructions or rules for the use of the Tournament and/or Courts that are provided to me or otherwise posted on the Tournament website (https://events.crescentbar.org/e/pickelball-tournament) or at the Courts.
BY SIGNING THIS RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT AND RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY (“RELEASE”), I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE FULLY READ THIS RELEASE, THAT I UNDERSTAND IT AND THAT I AM NOT RELYING ON ANY STATEMENTS OR REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY THE RELEASED PARTIES IN CHOOSING TO EXECUTE IT. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT MY EXECUTION OF THIS ENTRY AGREEMENT AND RELEASE OF WAIVER IS MY FREE AND INFORMED ACT. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE BEEN PROVIDED ADEQUATE TIME TO REVIEW THE RELEASE, AND THAT I UNDERSTAND MY RIGHT TO HAVE IT REVIEWED BY LEGAL COUNSEL OF MY CHOICE BEFORE EXECUTING IT.
The undersigned represents and warrants that they are at least 18 years of age (or the legal guardian of a participant under the age of 18 years of age), and voluntarily agree to all of the terms of this Release.
